An Ideal Car Wash On Your Own

A lot of people who own cars want to keep it in the best possible condition even after years since it was bought. If you cherish your vehicle a lot, you need to make sure a regular car wash, aside from the regular maintenance you do, should be done and done well.

All that you need for a great self car wash is some good accessories & a few easy to follow steps as discussed below. First, start with a brisk hose down of your vehicle to remove most of the dirt stuck to it. Now start soaping the roof with a good car wash shampoo.

Do not use utensil detergents, no matter how effective they are with your greasy dishes. They can result in abrasion of car wax & leave your vehicle devoid of its real lustre and shine. There are a lot of car wash shampoos that you can choose from, though you must go for only a well known brand.

You should also ensure that your sponge is not worn out & dirty, as otherwise you might make the vehicle look dirtier, rather than making it shinier, by depositing more dirt on it. You should use micro fibre mitts to make sure that you don’t wear away the sparkle with your cleaning.

Once you are through with the roof, you will need to repeat the process with the side surfaces, the rear and the hood. When you are certain that you have cleaned the car to your heart’s content, use the hose once more to wash off the vehicle thoroughly. After this, your car still needs a little more to be done to sparkle and shine again.

If your vehicle is allowed to stand in the sun after the wash, the some water marks will be left all over the car’s body. Therefore, you must use chamois leather to wipe it properly so that it shines with a new found lustre.

The outcome of your labour is going to be a shiny looking vehicle & a lot of satisfaction from all the difficult work & results reaped.
