This means that this huge and beautiful luxury car is not a slow car by any means. The petrol-electric setup produces 439bhp, and the electric motor ensures that there is an extra dose of power always available. The LS 600h has a continuous transmission, so engine speed is optimised.
The power steering offers little feedback, and it is fully electric. There is actually no body roll, and it handles turnings very well. The input required to the steering varies with the variable gear ratio system of the steering. Things like parking and other tight manoeuvres require minimal input from the steering.
The vehicle dynamic integrated management system combines emergency steering assist with stability control to provide a faster response in a sudden maneuver. The ride quality of the Lexus LS 600h is extremely smooth, and it handles all road surfaces with ease.
The inside of the Lexus LS 600h is shutoff from external noise, and the four-way climate control ensures total comfort. Air diffusers are set into the roof lining to avoid unpleasant draughts. The front seats are electrically adjustable. The LS 600h L (long wheelbase) has a relaxation pack. The rear seat behind the driver reclines fully, and has a massage function. The parking assist system virtually parks the car itself in parallel parking with the driver just pressing the brake pedal. Rear parking monitors, and parking sensors come as standard equipment. The boot space is just 325 litres, and is significantly less because of the battery packs.
All models have a sophisticated braking system, stability system, and ten airbags. The equipment in the LS 600h includes Bluetooth, DVD, satellite navigation, electric rear blind, six CD auto-changer, Mark Levinson twelve speaker music system plus adaptive headlights. The LS 600h has 19inch alloys, and rear cool box, rear wood console, card entry, heated steering wheel, and leather has been used throughout. Rear seat DVD screens lower from the roof. The Lexus LS 600h is a true luxury car, being hybrid it is economical as well.
